Zena Margaret McKinley

Zena Margaret McKinley, born on Wednesday, May 11, 1949, in Windsor, Ontario, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 21, 2025, in Strathmore, Alberta. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Zena touched the lives of many with her warmth and compassionate spirit.

Zena shared a deep bond with her husband, Larry McKinley, who stood beside her through life's many adventures. She was a proud mother to Geoffrey Pelly, and her step daughters, Kara Graham (Darren), Carla Pickering (Rob) and Madelaine McKinley. As a grandmother, Zena found joy in her very close grandson, Isaiah Pelly and his mother Mariesa Cummings.

Her family also includes a beloved extended family comprised of numerous relatives and friends who appreciated her kindness and generosity.

Zena's legacy will forever be cherished by those who knew her. She was predeceased by her parents, James and Desly Perratt, and her beloved children, Michelle and Dylan , her brother, Andrew, and her grandson, Justin.

Zena Margaret McKinley will be remembered for her gentle spirit, unyielding love, and the countless lives she impacted. Her memory will live on in the stories shared among family and friends, a testament to a remarkable life lived fully and lovingly.
