Wynona Nedelec Burke

Wynona Sparrow Maria Andrus Nedelec Burke slipped away from us on Monday August 1, 2022.
She is survived by her mother Amber Nedelec; and her brothers, Eli and Jan. She is also survived by her father, Freeman Andrus; his two daughters, Isis and Teresa Volkova; and their two brothers, Martin and David Miller. She is also survived by her dad, Christian Reiner; and his children, Morgan and Mary-Lottie.
What seems like a short while ago she was a single mom who shared an incredibly tight bond with her wonderful son, Alexzander. One day she met the love of her life, Johnross Burke, at a bus stop and they, nine months after a romantic trip to Jamaica brought the beautiful Emma Irie Burke into the world. All four were lovingly united in their beautiful peacock themed wedding October 4th, 2014.
Born in Tennessee, raised in Kelowna and lived in Calgary with her husband, two children and a turtle named Bamboo, she was a creative artist known for her collages and prolific photography. She will be lovingly remembered as the kindest, most compassionate, and positive sunshine in our day. She always made the most of her short and special 40+ years.

A Memorial Service will be held for Wynona at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Saturday August 6, 2022 at 12:00 pm.
