Wilhelmina Mary Bons

Mary (Wilhelmina) Bons passed away peacefully on Monday, October 26, 2015 at the age of 100 years in Calgary, AB. She was born on May 7, 1915 in Barendrecht, Netherlands to Cornelia and Aaron VanOosten. She will be lovingly remembered by her two sons, Ed (Beth) and Ron (Val); grandchildren, Andrew, Kathryn, Ronald and Sean as well as extended family both here in Canada and in the Netherlands. Mary was predeceased by her husband George as well as her sister and brothers. Her devotion to her family was surpassed only by her unwavering support of the Calgary Flames and Stampeders. Mary is now safely at home with the Lord after a long and full life. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, November 5th at River Park Community Church, 3818-14A Street SW Calgary, AB T2T 3Y2, and will be followed by a celebration of life. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Society at www.muscle.ca
