Wesley David Bernhardt

Wesley Bernhardt passed away on Monday, June 12, 2023 at the age of 53 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his partner, Patricia Akachuk; his mother, Mary; Wes’s Children, Jordan and his wife Chantal, and Chantee and her partner Jordan; siblings, Johnathan and Lisa; his grandchildren, Jameson, Lacey and Sabre; as well as Wesley’s step children and step-grandchildren. Wesley was predeceased by the mother of his children, Candice and his stepson, Cass.

Wes was a proud father and grandfather. Family meant the world to him. His grandchildren were the apple of his eye and he was their superhero grandpa. Wes could always be found around the BBQ at events. Always ready to grill the best cuts of meat for his family. Wes was a man who enjoyed the simplest pleasures in life, That brought him great joy. Although he was a quiet man, He was very outspoken.

Wes was a heavy equipment operator for many years, a job he took pride in. Wes was very appreciative of his work and his coworkers and employers felt the same.

Wes had a great sense of humor. He had the best lame dad jokes, The kind that are so lame they are funny. We will all miss his cheesy jokes. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Wesley’s family would like to thank the Peter Lougheed ICU unit, and Nurse Hailey for the great care they gave to Wes.

They would also like to thank everyone who sent their heartfelt condolences.

A celebration of life will be held for Wes at a later date.
