Werner Karl Schaaff

Werner Schaaff passed peacefully surrounded by love on Friday, December 25, 2015 at the age of 75 years. Werner was born on June 16, 1940 in Volkmarsen, Germany and came to Canada in 1966. He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife of 53 years, Brigitte; his daughters Gabriele (Denis) and Susanna; his grandson Jesse (whom he was a proud Opa to); his sisters Waltrud, Margot (Werner), Louise, Annie, Helga (Christian); and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Werner was predeceased by his parents Otto and Karoline Schaaff. Werner was a proud Ironworker and he loved being a welder. When he was not working he loved to go for walks, spend time watching birds in the bird sanctuary, and he had a love for soccer. He also had a love and appreciation for all types of beer. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at 1:00 pm.
