Walter “Wally” Ouellette
June 30, 1947 — April 7, 2018
Walter “Wally” (Sayers) Ouellette passed away on the 7th of April, 2018. He was born on June 30, 1947 in Ponoka, Alberta and moved around Alberta and Saskatchewan before settling in Calgary, Alberta.
Wally is survived by his children Krystale, Collin, Clinton and their families. He is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Wally was a gentle soul. He was always optimistic and kept his head up high. He loved visiting with everyone and had the best memory from remembering peoples birthdates to history facts. He was an avid Flames fan and you could count on him watching every game. You could always see him wearing his favorite Native Pride hat and collecting Native art.
A Funeral Service will be held for Wally on April 12, 2018. Viewing will be from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. Services begin at 1:00pm. Refreshments to follow. Graveside service will be provided on a later date.
