Vivienne Jean Plaza

September 25, 1934 — February 27, 2012

PLAZA, Vivienne Jean September 25, 1934 February 27, 2012 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Vivienne Jean Plaza (nee Robb), who slipped away peacefully in her home on February 27, 2012 at the age of 77 years. Vivienne was born on September 25, 1934 in Consort, Alberta. She will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her son Daryl Plaza, daughter-in-law Darlene Loeffel and her family, grandson Channing Plaza, Aunt Martha and Uncle Grant Scoville, brother-in-law Norm Milne, nieces Angie Ward and Judy White and their children, extended family Plaza, friends, and neighbours. Vivienne is predeceased by her sister Isabelle Milne, her husband Frank Plaza, and parents Agnes and John Robb. Mom will always be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor and story-telling abilities, making everyone in the room howl with laughter. There was always that twinkle in her eye and that contagious laugh of hers. The many family dinners where we all gathered are our fondest memories. Mom was a lover of all animals, especially her pet cats which were always treated like royalty. And we cannot forget the squirrels that would tap on the outside windows for more food. Vivienne touched many lives with her special love and kindness. We all have been enriched and made fuller by the many memories that we will hold close to our hearts forever. Celebration of Life to begin at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at Pierson’s Garden of Peace Chapel (243208 Garden Rd NE) beginning with an internment of cremated remains and following with a Gathering. Messages of condolence may be forwarded to the family at www.piersons.ca. Arrangements are in care of PIERSON’S FUNERAL SERVICE. Telephone 403-235-3602.
