Vivian Ann Baker

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Vivian Baker on May 15, 2019 at the age of 45 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her partner, Al Smy, and children Crystal Furi, William Zeitner, Jolenne Zeitner, and Cathleen Detlor, as well as her grandchildren Nathaniel, Jonathan, Ebony, Serenity, and Lilly-Anne. She is also survived by her mother Edra Baker, and her brother Brian Baker. Vivian was predeceased by her much loved sister Crystal Baker and her uncle John.

Vivian had so much love for her family, her children and her grandchildren that were the light of her life. She was very caring and would make everyone feel as though they were family no matter who they were or where they came from. Her other baby was her “big for a little dog” Lady. Vivian was so memorable. She was funny, outgoing, and such a strong willed warrior. Vivian could make it through anything. She was creative and crafty, and she loved to sing and dance.

A Celebration of Vivian’s Life will be held at Pierson’s Funeral Service (4121 17 Ave SE, Calgary) on Friday, May 31, 2019 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alberta Cancer Founation (https://giving.albertacancer.ca/donate/in-memory).
