Violet Gloria Schickerowsky
August 17, 1935 — January 1, 2022
Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece and cousin Vi, went to be with the Lord on January 1, 2022 at the age of eighty-six years old.
Vi was pre-deceased by the love of her life, Ken Schickerowsky in 1993; her son, Kenny (Lori) Schickerowsky in 2012; her father, James Cardinal; her mother, Kathleen Whitford and sisters, Laura Carson, Barbara, Shirley, Joyce and Joanne Cardinal.
Vi will be lovingly remembered by her children, Fred (Pearl) Vallee, William (Suzanne) Vallee, George Vallee and Karen (Andres) Acuna; her grandchildren, Sonny, Carmen, Twila, Gordon, Patricia, Kari, Lori, Violet, Jason, Sonny, Kathleen, Nicole, Kristen, Andres and Alexis; her great grandchildren, Crystal, Julie, Lennon, Kylie, Jesse, Tyrell, Kirk, Latonya, Lanaya, Leah, Lilly, Donovan, Viola, Kaia, Gabriel, Elsa, Amelia, Andres, Antonio & Ken and great-great grandchildren Mateo and Miguel.
Vi was also survived by numerous other family members and friends. Please accept our apologies if anyone was left out.
Those wishing to pay your respects may do so on Monday, January 17, 2022 at Pierson’s Funeral Service (4121-17th Ave SE, Calgary) from 10:00am-1:00pm. Following the viewing there will be a service for Vi held at Metis Local 87 (1539 43 St SE, Calgary) at 2:00pm with a reception to follow.
Due to pandemic protocol, QR code with double vaccination and government issued photo identification must be presented. Masks are mandatory.
