Veronica Mary Forde

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Vera (Veronica) Forde (nee Blood). Vera is succeeded by her 7 children, Derek, Vincent, Chris, Eddie, Linda, Veronica, and Thomas, her 15 grandchildren, Derek, Brian, Justin, Christine, Meghan, Melissa, Charlotte, Caroline, Brianna, William, Anthony, Rhiannon, Brenna, Gillian, and Patrick, and 7 great-grandchildren.

Vera was born in Dublin, Ireland, November 15, 1935. She courageously emigrated to Canada in 1967 to provide a prosperous future for her children, and we are all forever grateful for the sacrifice she made, leaving her beloved family in Ireland.

Vera’s wonderful sense of humour is loved by all who know her. We shall sorely miss her hugs and kisses full of loving comfort, her easy laughter, and generous nature. Our Mammy epitomized what it is to be a mother, devoting herself to raising us with love and wonderful cooking and baking skills! Famously known for her meat pies. 😊

We will bring you home to Ireland, Mammy, to be reunited in peace with your beloved mother, Ellen (Blood, nee Cummins), and your dear sister, Carmel (Spain, nee Blood).

We miss you so much, Mammy! And we celebrate the wonderful memories of you that live forever in our hearts.
