Vera Verna Antoine

It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Vera Verna Antoine. Vera passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at her residence in Calgary, Canada at the age of 53 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her father Joseph Antoine and Stepmother Shema Antoine of Labayee. One sister Drucilla Antoine of Calgary and two brothers Merill and Kerde Antoine both of Calgary. One sister in-law Sulline Antoine, four nieces Missy, Zoe, Saskia and Clerissa and one nephew Corey. One God-daughter Youra Gordan of Calgary. Two Uncles Pastor Wulstan Charles and family of Ravine Poisson, Bertie Antoine and family of Trinidad. Seven Aunts, Ann Lionel and family of Sarrot, Mary Cadogan and family of the UK, Edwarline Reid and family, Francisa Lewis and family in Barbados, Marcelle Paul and family of Ravine Poisson, Hermita Joseph and family of Ravine Poisson and Lily Charles in Florida. Two of her closest and dearest friends Chanta Hinds and Pastor Reynold Ferary both of Calgary. Numerous cousins including, Heather, Margret, Aan, Henry, Andre, Benjamin, Kris, Selina, Everlina, Lorna, Sylvester, Samuel and Ted. She was predeceased by her mother Greta Antoine and Grandmother Rosalta Charles. Vera will forever be remembered for her unwavering faith in the Lord and her dedication to her family and close friends. Vera Touched many lives in a very positive manner over the course of her lifetime. She will be missed tremendously by all those who knew and cherished her warm and engaging personality and demeanor.
