It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved sister, Vayia, who left us far too soon. Though her journey through life was often difficult, she touched the hearts of everyone who truly knew her with her kindness, humour, and fierce spirit.
Vayia faced struggles that many could not see or understand. Addiction and hardship were part of her story, but they were never the whole of who she was. She was a daughter, a sister, an aunt and a friend — a person who loved deeply and was loved in return. Her laughter could fill a room, and her warmth could light even the darkest moments.
We will remember her not for the battles she fought, but for the beauty she brought into our lives: her compassion, her resilience, and the countless ways she reminded us of the strength of the human heart.
While her time with us was too short, we take comfort in knowing she is finally at peace. She will live on in our memories and in the love she gave so freely.
May she rest in peace, and may we continue to carry her love with us always.
