His Journey’s Just Begun
Tyronne Gilbert was the age of 33 when he died suddenly from a heart attack while residing in Calgary, AB. Tyronne is survived by his common-law partner, Nakita Perreault; stepdaughter, Serenity; mother, Tammy Gilbert; siblings, Joslyn Chan, Abe Latife, Ashton-Jade Gilbert, and Drayton Gilbert; nieces, Selina Latife- Gilbert and Honorie Gilbert; grandmother, Rita Gilbert. Tyronne Gilbert was predeceased by his father, David Chan and his sister Larissa Gilbert.
Tyronne was born in Calgary. As an adult, he went on to work as a chef and in construction. Respectfully, he was with Nakita for a few years and raised his stepdaughter Serenity and begun his life with his little family.
Tyronne was a devoted Boyfriend, Stepfather, Son, Grandson, Brother, and most importantly a friend to everyone he carried within his life and heart. He enjoyed spending his time with those he loved deeply, as well as adventures out trying new food and exploring the city. He was often a peacemaker, making sure everyone he loved knew that and so much more. He was beyond caring, funny, loving, and had a contagious personality that shined with everyone he now leaves behind with nothing but fond and loving memories.
Before his departure of life, he was baptized with the lord and has been spending the past few years regaining an inner personal and spiritual level with God as he has always done.
With sadness but with love, we announce the passing of someone who was not only fierce with love, compassion, and devotion for those he carried high but someone we will all keep close in our heart’s and cherish the memories of all the great things and experiences he has taught us all.
A Funeral Service will be held for Tyronne at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Friday September 18, 2020 at 11:00 am. Visitation will begin at 10:00am. where you will be offered to show your respects to our always admired Tyronne Gilbert. Graveside Service will take place at Queen’s Park Cemetery
