With profound sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Todd Allen Nunn on July 29th, 2022 at the age of 58.
Todd is survived by his wife Liz McMullen, wonderful daughters Stephanie and Lindsay, brother Paul Nunn and sister Jami Nicholls. Todd was pre-deceased by his loving parents Jim and Betty Nunn.
Todd was born and raised in Maple, Ontario and spent most of his adult life in Canmore, Alberta. His passion for nature and adventure led him along many paths including various roles at Sunshine Village, Nakiska and Lake Louise Ski Resorts, Alberta Parks Ranger, Farnham Glacier Olympic Training Facility, Chatter Creek Ski Guide, Water Safety Coordinator in the filming industry and the establishment of his company, Canadian Rockies Rafting and Adventure Centre where he touched the hearts and souls of everyone he met.
In addition to his professional pursuits, he created lifelong memories for family and friends in the form of wilderness adventure. From Ontario to the mountains and ski hills of Alberta and British Columbia to the roaring rivers of the Yukon, his mission was to share the joys of nature with as many family and friends as he could. Todd loved unconditionally all who crossed his path. You will always be fondly remembered, sadly missed and forever in our hearts Todd Allen Nunn….may you rest in peace!

Sending my sincere condolences to all of Todd’s Tribe. He was passionate, generous, and full of life. I am grateful he was one of Brad’s best friends, because it allowed me to spend time with him beyond high school and into adulthood. We have many memories of the Nunn hospitality when visiting Canmore. We got to experience white water, floats, ice walks and mountain biking all thanks to Todd and Liz. We wish his family healing and blessings. May he RIP. xoxo

Dear Liz, family and friends.
Big Todd I will spot his soul flying in on my next encounter with Raven, and I will smile.
He was such a kind man, always made me feel welcome with a huge grin, smile permanently fixed it seems.
On the next clear night, look up, way up and you will see one star outshine all others.
My condolences to you Liz, your daughters and Nunn family. And of course, his close friends.
You are in my thoughts
Love Lucia

My heartfelt condolences to Liz, Stephanie and Lindsay, Todd’s immediate and extended families and friends. I hadn’t had the opportunity to see or talk to Todd in quite a few years and despite the unfortunate passing of so much time, it was a privilege to know him and consider him my friend for the past 41 years. I have so many great memories of him and his indelible spirit and am a better person for having spent many years in his company. I am sorry to not be there today to celebrate his life with the many people who loved and cherished him but my thoughts are with you.
