Timothy James Servos Jr.

Timothy James Servos Jr., known for his adventurous spirit and kindness, passed away peacefully with family at Rosedale Hospice in Calgary on July 7, 2026. Tim was 50 years old. Born on June 8, 1976, in Victoria, BC, Tim’s life was defined by compassion, resilience, and his ability to make meaningful connections with those around him.

Tim brought warmth and charisma into every space he entered. He truly believed in the value of friendship and had a natural talent for making friends wherever he went. He was genuinely interested in people and their stories. Family, friends, and colleagues remember him for his friendly demeanor and the deep care he showed for others.

Tim dedicated more than 20 years of his professional life to Shaw/Rogers, where he was a well-respected colleague. His commitment, steady presence, and teamwork earned him the lasting admiration and gratitude of those he worked alongside. He valued these professional relationships as much as he did those in other facets of his life, always striving to infuse positivity into his work environment.

Outside of work, Tim found great joy and solace in nature. He especially loved camping amidst the serenity of the Crowsnest Pass and Sundre areas, places that brought him peace and allowed him to appreciate the beauty of the world. Spirituality was also an important part of his journey, guiding him through both joyful and challenging times.

Among his proudest accomplishments was forming close relationships within the AA community. Tim drew strength and encouragement from these bonds, and he was equally generous in giving that support back. His openness and empathy left a lasting imprint on many lives in this community.

He is lovingly remembered by his children: TJ, Brendan and Alyssa; along with their mother, Raegan, who has been a source of support for Tim throughout his illness. His surviving family also includes his close cousin Rob, his step-mother Anne; along with many cousins, aunts, uncles and extended family. Tim was predeceased by his father, Timothy Sr., and his mother, Dorothy. The legacy of his kindness, warmth, and adventurous soul lives on in all those who had the privilege of knowing him.

The family extends extra special thanks to the many, many friends and family who visited and offered support throughout Tim’s illness, and to the staff at Rosedale Hospice for their compassionate care.

Timothy James Servos Jr. will be cherished and deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.
