On Sunday, December 17, 2023 Tibor "Tim" Joza of Calgary, Alberta passed away at the age of 60 years.
Tim will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Esther Joza of Edmonton, Alberta; sister, Diana Roulette (Mark Roulette) of Lancaster, South Carolina; brother, Robert Joseph Joza of Edmonton, Alberta; Brother, Attila Paul Joza of Edmonton, Alberta; and nieces, Jessica Velt of Aurora, Colorado, Kristina Roulette of Lancaster, South Carolina, and Kathryn Beal (Donovan Beal) of Grand Forks, North Dakota.
Tim was born as Tibor Joza in Novi Sad, Yugoslavia on November 28, 1963. He migrated to Canada with his Hungarian parents, Paul and Esther Joza, at the age of 5 and settled in a tobacco farm town just outside of Barrie, Ontario, close to distant relatives.
Tim loved all sports, fishing, travelling, cooking, outdoor activities and working with his hands. He was passionate about world history and politics. His love of travelling took him to exotic destinations for extended periods, where he would embrace local living and enjoy the solitude of his private lifestyle. When Tim wasn't travelling the globe, he enjoyed time with his friends and the outdoors. He took great pride in his Hungarian heritage and loved to cook traditional family favourite recipes.
Tim will be dearly missed by his friends and family.
