Theresa Annie Nordmark

Theresa Nordmark passed away on Monday, March 15, 2021 at the age of 83 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Gary (Jenine) Nordmark; 3 granddaughters Lana (Sean), Theresa (Sergio) and Rena (Neil); 3 great grandsons Luke, Austin and Anton; siblings Marlene, Bill (Agnes), Jim (Donna) and Pat (Ron); and many more family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Roger, parents Andrew and Theresa and brother Ken.

Theresa was born and raised in Regina, SK and was the eldest of 6 children. She attended Belfour Tech and enjoyed spelling, shorthand, typing and accounting. She began working for Advance Industries and was there until her retirement. Theresa met her future husband Roger at the dancehall in Regina. He proposed on Christmas Eve and they were married in May 1957 and were married for 44 years until Rogers’ passing. In 1958 they were blessed with their son Gary and when he married Jenine, they gained a daughter. Theresa was a very proud grandmother of 3 granddaughters and great grandmother to 3 great grandsons.

Theresa was a very social person as she loved people and conversation. She belonged to a stitching group, Ranchlands Seniors, and was a member of WI (Women’s International) and Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church. She enjoyed her weekly card games, visiting with family and friends, doing crosswords and jigsaw puzzles, and watching the news and game shows. She also enjoyed cooking and took pleasure in feeding everyone (even if you weren’t hungry). She had a great sense of humour, loved to tell jokes, and had a very infectious laugh. When she laughed, she laughed fully and never held back.

Theresa was a very caring, thoughtful, kind-hearted, friendly person who will be deeply missed by all who knew her, the lives she touched, and her friends and family.
