Terence "Terry" James Maguire

Born and raised in Wauldstone, Middlesex, England, he was the youngest of five children.

At the age of 18, he met Brenda. After a few years of dating, they were married on March 31, 1958, beginning a lifelong partnership built on hard work and adventures while travelling the world.

Terry pursued a career as a Civil Engineer. His work took him to many different cities, sparking a love of travel. Together, he and Brenda embraced this passion, creating memorable family journeys across Europe in a caravan—often crossing several countries in a single day and exploring places such as Italy, France, Spain, Austria, Germany, and Switzerland.

In 1973, Terry moved his family to Calgary, Alberta, where he worked at Calgary Metal as a plant manager and later with ATCO Structures. He went on to serve as plant manager at Prebuilt Industries in Lethbridge, Alberta; at the time the town’s largest employer, overseeing 600 employees.

In 1978, Terry began a new chapter as a Real Estate Agent, eventually joining Remax Mountain View, where he was later joined by Brenda. Together, they built not only a successful career but also lasting relationships within their community.

In their retirement years, Terry and Brenda continued to explore the world, travelling to Japan, New Zealand, Australia, Mexico, Aruba, and Antigua, among many others.

At home, Terry found great joy in tending to his garden, spending countless hours cultivating and caring for his yard.
