Tammy Diana Gilbert

Tammy Gilbert passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at the age of 54 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Joslyn Chan, Abe Latife, Ashton-Jade Gilbert and Drayton Gilbert; grandchildren, Selina Latife-Gilbert and Honorie Gilbert; and many more family and friends. She was predeceased by her partner David Chan, eldest daughter Larissa Gilbert and son Tyrone Gilbert.

Tammy was born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan and lived in Calgary most of her life where she raised her family. She was a beautiful soul through and through and gave her all to those she cared about. She never asked for much but would always do whatever she could even for strangers. There was always an open door policy in her home to everyone that needed it. She loved deeply and held her family and friends close.

A Public Visitation will be held for Tammy at Pierson’s Funeral Service (4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Thursday, January 26, 2023 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. If desired, memorial donations may be made directly to Joslyn Chan, Drayton Gilbert or Ashton Gilbert, where they will be distributed between family members and to cover any remaining funeral costs.
