Suzette Mathilde Garcia

Suzette Mathilde Garcia was born October 9, 1935 in Luxembourg and passed away in Calgary on Monday May 6, 2024 after a short battle with heart disease at the age of 88 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her surviving family; son, Richard and his two children, Craig and his children Liam and Kailynn, Kyle (Naomi) and children Winifred and Harriet; daughter Linda and her son Keith (Jennelle) and their children Lincoln and Ashley; daughter Carol (Terry) and her daughter Nicole (father Glenn); and many more family and friends both in Calgary and Luxembourg. Suzette is preceded in death by her husband Joseph and grandson Michael. 

Suzette was born and raised in Luxembourg. She immigrated to Canada in 1960 to Montreal where she met her husband Joseph. She loved the outdoors and just simply being out in nature. Suzette had a passion for painting landscapes and mountain scenes. She will be missed dearly. 

A private service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Alberta.
