Susanne “Sue” Rosemarie Bente

Susanne “Sue” Bente passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at the age of 62 years.
Sue was a beloved member of Bow Cliff Seniors Centre and The Calgary Lawn Bowling Club. For many years she attended weekly lunches and Canasta games and represented Bow Cliff Seniors on many tour and travel trips. Lawn bowling was a passion of Sue’s and to her the Calgary Lawn Bowling Club, during our bowling season, was the center of her social life. Sue was a faithful church-goer and bible study was an important part of her life. Sue loved football, HGTV, hot chocolate, the color orange, and hugs.
She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
A Funeral Service will be held for Sue at Pierson’s Funeral Service (4121 17 Ave SE, Calgary) on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at 10:00 am with burial to follow at Rocky View Garden of Peace Cemetery (243208 Garden Rd, Alberta).
Those attending the service in person will be asked to provide proof of vaccination ( Two doses as of 2 weeks ago) and or a negative COVID test within 72 hours along with matching government issued ID. Due to additional COVID protocols there will be no more than 50 attendees in the funeral home at one time, masks are mandatory and social distancing will be in effect.
