Suliman, Karol George
March 11, 1939 — July 17, 2022
With great sadness we announce the passing of Karol George Suliman on Sunday, July 17, 2022 in Calgary, Alberta, at the age of 83.
Karol was born in Austria, moved to Slovakia at a young age, then moved to Regina, Saskatchewan, as a young adult, then finally living the rest of his life in Calgary, Alberta.
Karol really enjoyed spending his time in the outdoors camping, hunting, and fishing. He was a dedicated husband, father, and he loved working. He came from a big family with many siblings and always loved his family and friends. He was a social butterfly and loved to get to know people of many different cultures.
Karol is survived by his wife, Ilona Suliman (nee Hasko) of 44 years; daughters, Anita Suliman, and Alena Kytka; grandchildren, Micheaela (Ryan) Gale; Thomas Kytka; great-grandchildren, Samantha Gale, and Michael Gale; many brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews spread around the world. Karol was predeceased by his parents, Karol and Ludmila Suliman; brothers, Ivan Suliman and Peter Suliman; and sisters, Kristina, and Anna.
As per Karol’s wishes there will be no formal funeral service. Please say a special Prayer.
