Stephen Joseph Mahabir

MAHABIR, Stephen Joseph May 30, 1929 – October 10, 2013 It is with heavy hearts that the family of Stephen announces his passing on October 10, 2013 at the age of 84 years. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his children, Richard Mahabir of Calgary, AB, Rosemarie Mahabir, and Jacqueline (Michael) Singh, all of Edmonton, AB; his grandchildren, Rythom Chaisson of Windemere, BC, and Alex Singh of Edmonton, AB; his siblings, Mary “Baby” Maraj, Florence “Dolly” Rampersad, Patrick (Carmin) Mahabir, and MacDonald “Mack” Mahabir, all of Trinidad; and numerous family and friends. Stephen was predeceased by his parents, Joseph Stephen Mahabir and Hana Thomas, and 8 of 12 siblings. He will be missed. A Visitation will be held at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel, 4121 17 Ave S.E., on Monday, October 21, 2013 from 3-5 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held the same day at The Calgary Kingdom Hall Center, 2900 14 Ave N.E., at 7 p.m. Messages of condolence may be forwarded to the family at www.piersons.ca.
