Shirley Sept passed away peacefully on Saturday May 11, 2019 at the age of 74 years surrounded by her loving family.
Shirley was born on August 18, 1944 in Moose Jaw, SK to Bruce and Nina Palmer.
She met her wonderful husband, Lawrence Sept in 1963 when she was 19. The Sept’s went on to have 4 children; 2 sons, Steve and Kelly and 2 daughters, Lynn (deceased, 2007)and Trish.
Shirley is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
She was a talented seamstress. She loved to purchase a variety of fabrics and turn them into beautiful outfits.
Shirley was once quiet and shy until Lawrence helped bring her out of her shell. She had a fantastically sarcastic sense of humour. She was also very organized. Shirley battled several ailments over many years. She was brave and resilient. Lawrence was at her side the entire time. They would be celebrating 55 years of marriage next month. Shirley never wanted a fuss made over her. As such, at Shirley’s request, there will be no formal service.
