Sheena Ruth Nason (née Calhoun)

With heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Sheena Ruth Nason (née Calhoun) on Sunday, July 5, 2026, in Calgary, Alberta, at the age of 53 years.

Sheena was born in Moncton, New Brunswick, to Beatrice Calhoun (née Nason) and Guy Johnson. Throughout her life, she found joy in life's simple blessings. She lovingly knitted dishcloths, cared deeply for her beloved pets, and found comfort and happiness in music. She had a deep appreciation for God's creation, finding peace in the majestic mountains of Alberta and the familiar beauty of the Atlantic coast where she enjoyed the ocean. She will be remembered for the love she shared so freely with everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Along with her husband of 20 years, Lee Nason, Sheena will be lovingly remembered by her brother, Roger Calhoun (Cynthia); sisters, Neysa Calhoun, Claudia Calhoun (Jim); brother-in-law, Jim Mockler; nieces and nephews, Fonda, Jaime, Aaron, Brandi, Jesse, Colton, Jacob, Harley and Levi. She was predeceased by her parents, Beatrice Calhoun (née Nason) and Guy Johnson; sister, Angela Mockler (née Calhoun).

A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
