Selk, Shalayne Sarah November 28, 1986 – February 2, 2014
Shalayne Sarah Selk slipped from this life on February 2nd in the arms of her angel mother and surrounded by family and friends. Shalayne was a ray of Heavenly Father’s light and grace that we were allowed to borrow for a time. Shalayne was kind, caring and warm, and she had the heart of an angel and touched many souls throughout her 27 years. Shalayne will be remembered with love by her parents, Robert and Jackie; her grandparents John and Jessie Taylor; many aunts, uncles and cousins; her siblings Danaka (Ron Dougherty), Ryan, Virgil and Taylor (Dani); nieces and nephews Jacquelyn, Zayne, Preston, Olivia and Julia. She was predeceased by her grandparents Virgil & Marjorie Selk.

A Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints – Diamond Valley Chapel, 600 Country Meadows Street, Turner Valley on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation, www.childrenshospital.ab.ca, the Children’s Wish Foundation, www.childrenswish.ca, or the Spina Bifida & Hydrocephalus Foundation of Canada, www.sbhac.ca.
