Shakiel “Shakker” Bennett

On July 4th 2022, at the young age of 27, Shakiel was taken from this world not of his own volition. Shakiel was born in Calgary on February 6, 1995. He will forever be remembered as a beautiful soul who would take the shirt off his back for you. Shakiel had a great sense of humor and always had everyone laughing to the point of tears. You’ve never seen a smile more contagious or felt a love so strong.  Shakiel was never afraid of living, he took risks and wasn’t one to pass up a challenge. He loved his family dearly and took every opportunity to take adventures with them. He loved outdoor activities, dancing, singing and was a car fanatic. Although 27 years was not enough, he goes home with family, friends and with endless knowledge, wisdom and so much love. Shakiel is predeceased by his Grandmother; Pearline Bennett. He will be dearly missed by his parents; Shauna Burke and Raymond Bennett Sr. His two Brothers; Raymond Bennett Jr and Jayden Brown. His Sisters; Shanel Bennett, Shantel Bennett, Summer Bennett and Divine Brown. His Grandparents; Janet Burke, Gary Burke and Sam Bennett. Shakiel will also be missed by his friends.

The loss of Shakiel is felt by many. We will miss you so very much Always, till we see each other again. WE Love you Shakker ❤️

A funeral service will be held at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) for Shakiel on Saturday, July 16 2022 at 1:00 pm
