Scott Whitney Spiers

Scott Whitney Spiers, beloved son, brother, nephew, uncle, and friend, passed away on February 14, 2026, at the age of 32. 

He was born on January 17, 1994, in Fort McMurray, Alberta, to Ken and Janice Spiers. As the youngest child, Scott brought light, humor, and warmth to those around him from the very beginning. 

Scott had a rare and beautiful gift: the ability to make people feel truly seen, valued, and loved. His kindness, gentle spirit, and genuine care for others left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him. 

He found great joy in the things he loved most — his friends, his family, and cheering passionately for the Edmonton Oilers. Whether sharing laughter, offering quiet support, or celebrating life’s simple moments, Scott’s presence made the world brighter. 

Scott was predeceased by his loving parents, Ken and Janice Spiers. He leaves behind his brother Kent, brother-in-law Erik, and his cherished nephew Oskar, along with many friends and extended family members who will miss him deeply. 

Scott will be remembered for his generous heart, his gentle nature, and the love he gave so freely.
