Sandra Annette Macewen

Sandra Annette MacEwen, 78, passed away suddenly on February 16, 2023.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, David MacEwen; her children, Scott (Tasha), Craig (Jennifer) and Robyn (Brian); her grandchildren, Jordan, Noah, Ashtyn, Connor, Gracelyn, and Wyatt; and her sister, Christine. Sandra was predeceased by her father, Melvin Clisby in 1944; mother, Margery McDonald in 2003; and stepfather, Ken McDonald in 1983.
Sandra and David built a beautiful life together in the more than five decades they were married. In addition to their three children and six grandchildren, Sandra had a huge impact on the dozens of children she cared for in the day home she operated for nearly three decades. Sandra loved nothing more than gathering with her family and especially loved when she travelled with them to Disneyland. Over the years, Sandra enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren play sports and take part in other activities. Sandra will be missed dearly and will forever be in our hearts.
At Sandra’s request, there will be no funeral or memorial service. We invite you to make a donation the
Calgary Humane Society
in her honour.
