Ruth Marjorie Mowat

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ruth Mowat (nee Logan.) Ruth passed away on Friday, March 3, 2017 at the age of 86 years. Ruth will be lovingly remembered by her sons; Gary (Lynn) Mowat, Wayne (Gay Lynn) Mowat, Brian (Christine) Mowat, Siblings; Ron Logan and Darlene Logan. She will be deeply missed by her 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and numerous extended family members. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 44 years Lawrence “Pete” Mowat, Parents; Louisa and Earl Logan, Siblings; Audrey Mowat (nee Logan) and Earl Logan, and Granddaughters; Jennifer Renn (nee Mowat) and Chrissy Mowat. A Funeral Service will be held in Ruth’s honor at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Friday March 10, 2017 at 12:00 pm.
