With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Rosemary Lynne Wilson, who was known throughout her life as Lynne. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, and spent her career as a compassionate nurse.
Lynne passed away on January 31, 2024, lovingly surrounded by family, joining her husband Bryan Wilson in eternal peace.
Born on March 27, 1939, Lynne lived a life filled with love, devotion, and service. She was the cherished wife of Bryan Wilson for 56 years.
Lynne was the loving mother of Todd (Terri) Wilson, Dean (Deanna) Wilson, and Trish (Rick) Saunders. She took immense pride and joy in her role as a mother, nurturing her children with unconditional love, wisdom, and compassion. Her family was her greatest treasure, and she dedicated herself wholeheartedly to their well-being and happiness.
She was grandmother to Bradlyn (Nick) Oakes, Kenzie (Anthony) Wilson, Cole Wilson, Josh Saunders, Alena Wilson and Mylee Wilson, fondly known to them as Nana. Her gentle spirit, kindness, and unwavering support touched the lives of all who knew her, but especially her grandchildren.
As a nurse, Lynne dedicated herself to healing and comforting those in need. Her years of service were a testament to her compassion, empathy, and unwavering dedication to improving the lives of others. Lynne's patients were not just recipients of her care; they were recipients of her kindness, warmth, and capacity for love.
She opened her heart and home to countless cats and dogs during her life, providing them with love, care, and a forever home. Her bond with animals was profound, and she found immense joy and fulfillment in their companionship.
Lynne's passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew her, but her memory will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration. Her spirit lives on in the countless lives she touched and the love she shared.
A Memorial Service will be held for Lynne at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - Coach Hill Chapel, (996 Strathcona Drive SW, Calgary) on Friday, February 16, 2024 at 1:00 pm.
Though she has departed from this world, Lynne's memory will continue to shine brightly, guiding us with her love and light for eternity. May she rest in peace, reunited with her beloved Bryan, forever in the arms of angels.
