Rose-Marie Mason

Rose-Marie Mason (nee Augustin) was born on July 8, 1946 and passed into her rest on November 24, 2015 in Calgary, AB. We are saddened by Rose’s passing. Those mourning her loss, and missing her, are her brother, Eugene (Leona) Augustin, nephew Vincent (Nina) Augustin, great niece Alanna Augustin, great nephew Ian Augustin, niece Leah (Ed) Dudda, great nephew Harrison Ott, cousin Frank (June) Augustin and family, special friends Joanne and Ron Hiebert and extended family: Rose’s special friend, Bob McArthur, Randy (Mary), Robbie (Jaymee), Baylee, Riley, Mathew, Tyler, Brandon, Sheena, Chantelle and Rob Waterchief and a host of friends across the country. Rose lived a good life because of an attitude that was almost always positive. She saw her glass half-full rather than half-empty. She faced many challenges and overcame many obstacles. She enjoyed people and was content with just a little. She did a great variety of jobs during her working life, but the one she loved most was nursing, in her early years. Her last few years, living in her own little apartment, with special friends who were always there for her, were the most enjoyable years of her life. She had a simple faith in a God who loved her and looked forward to a better time and a better place, where everything and everybody would be eternally happy and healthy. A Graveside Service will be held on November 27, 2015 at 10 am in the Rocky View Memorial Garden with a Celebration of Life to follow at 11 am. The Celebration of Life will take place at the Central Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 1920 13th Avenue NW, Calgary, Alberta. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice
