She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Darren (Pearl) and Terry (Audrey); and her precious granddaughters Hayley and Jessica; as well as her brother Gordon Hartung (Cindy) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Rose was predeceased by her loving husband Gus Batke, her parents John and Bertha Hartung, brother and sister-in-law, Emil and Vera Hartung, sister and brother-in-law Dolly and Ernest Klumpp and nephew Patrick Klumpp.
Rose had a lifelong faith and lived it out to the end. Her family appreciates the Southwood Hospice staff who provided compassionate care in her final weeks.
A private family graveside service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Rose's name to the Canadian Cancer Society or to Samaritan's Purse (20 Hopewell Way N.E., Calgary, Alberta T3J 5H5)
