In Loving Memory of Robert (Rob) Williamson Watson
March 11, 1980 - December 19, 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert (Rob) Williamson Watson, who departed this world on December 19, 2023, at the age of 43. He was surrounded by the love of his wife at Peter Lougheed Hospital.

Rob, a cherished husband, leaves behind his devoted wife of almost 10 years, Tami McCabe, who stood by his side through thick and thin. Rob is survived by his loving half-siblings, Rick Mathieson, Darcy (Jackie) Mathieson, Ginell (Dan) Church, James (Marcia) Watson, Scott (Donna) Watson, and Kim (Mac) Tetley. His memory lives on in the hearts of many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews, each touched by his kindness and warmth.

Robert was predeceased by his grandparents, his half-brother Stewart, and his parents, Shirley and David. 

Born on March 11, 1980 into the embrace of love. He grew up in Regina, SK where he attended Lakeview Elementary then Sheldon Williams Collegiate. 

He worked mainly in irrigation service and he was the best at it. He loved his employer and co-workers. Rob also loved repairing anything with an engine. Outside of work, his passion was traveling and fishing.

Rob loved his wife immensely and perfectly. He was the most devoted husband. He also adored their dogs, Rayne & Oliver A LOT. They miss him as much as everyone else.

Known for his generosity, compassion, and unwavering support, Rob will be remembered for the positive impact he had on the lives of those around him. Every person he ever met, felt his spirit and immediately became friends with him.  His spirit will endure in the stories shared by family and friends, a testament to a life well-lived. He is loved deeply and completely by all. His departure leaves an unfillable void in the hearts of those who held him dear.

To honour and celebrate Rob's life, a Celebration of Life will be held in the spring of 2024. Details of the event will be shared with friends and family, providing an opportunity to come together, share memories, and find solace in each other's company.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rob's memory to the Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary. Your support is deeply appreciated during this difficult time.
