Letting Go
The angels gathered near your bed, so very close to you. For they knew the pain and suffering that you were going through. I thought about so many things, as I held tightly to your hand. Oh, how I wished that you were strong and happy once again. But your eyes were looking homeward, to the place beyond the sky. Where Jesus held his outstretched arms, it was time to say goodbye. I struggles with my selfish thoughts, for I wanted you to stay. So we could walk and talk again, like we did – just yesterday. But Jesus knew the answer, and I knew he loved you so. So I gave to you life’s greatest gift, the gift of letting go.
On October 10, 2014, Robert Miles Robinson, beloved husband of Lana, passed away in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 59 years. Robert is loving remembered by his wife Lana; children Joseph, Cassandra, Nawal, Rodrigue and Crystal; grand-daughter McKayla; loving friend and brother Vernon; brothers, sisters, father, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law; and all of his brothers and sisters at the Border Crossing. He will forever be in our hearts. Robert is the strongest man that we have ever and will ever have known. You will be sadly missed and cherished in our hearts always and forever. Love you Robert. Rest in Peace.
Cremation has taken place. For those wishing to celebrate Robert’s life there will be a gathering at the Border Crossing (1814 36 St SE) on Saturday October 18, 2014 at 1:00pm. Condolences to the family can be forwarded to www.piersons.ca
