With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Allen Aldridge, fondly known to many as Bobby, on Saturday, August 15, 2026, in Calgary, Alberta. Born on Friday, January 28, 1966, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Robert lived a life marked by warmth, perseverance, and a steadfast dedication to those he loved.

Bobby's life was enriched by the love and partnership he shared with his family. He is survived by his son Evan Aldridge, from British Columbia. His brothers, Barry (Kathie), Kelly, and Scott (Cathy) Aldridge, remain as both witnesses to his generous heart and as keepers of cherished memories of their shared youth and brotherhood. Bobby also leaves behind his maternal cousin, Neil McCallum of Rosetown, Saskatchewan, Jason McCallum ( Leah) of Calgary; and his paternal cousins, Mitzi (Jim), Patti (Allen), Judy (Darrell), and Trevor (Tracey), as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

In remembering Bobby, we honor not only the strength of his character but also the gentle humor, patience, and compassion he showed to all around him. He was predeceased by his mother, Wilma "Joan" Aldridge in 2016, his father, Bryan Aldridge in 2018, and his sister-in-law, Vickie Aldridge. Their memories, treasured by all who knew Bobby, serve as a testament to the enduring bonds of their family.

Bobby believed in the value of family and friendships, demonstrating it in every aspect of his life, embracing joys and challenges with quiet resilience and an open heart. Bobby’s integrity, generosity, and humility left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him. His sincerity and authenticity were matched only by his steadfast presence—qualities his family and friends will hold dear in their hearts, now and always.

Bobby’s legacy is woven into the fabric of his family, whose lives were made brighter and richer by his presence. His absence will be felt deeply, but his love and character will continue to guide and inspire those who survive him. As those who knew him mourn his passing, they also celebrate a life lived with purpose, kindness, and a special devotion to those he loved most.

There will be no formal service. Cremation at Foothills Crematorium. Bobby's urn will be buried with his parents in Kelfield, Saskatchewan.
