Richard Abramenko passed away on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at the age of 74 years.
He is survived by his daughter and family; siblings, Michael Abramenko, Linda Abramenko, Bernadette Waddy, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Richard was predeceased by his parents, George and Barbara Abramenko and siblings, Sheila Abramenko and David Abramenko.
A public viewing will be held for Richard at Pierson’s Funeral Service (4121 17 Ave SE, Calgary) on Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 6:00-8:00pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the same location on Friday, June 18, 2021 at 1:00 pm. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery. Due to COVID considerations, the in-person service will be limited to 20 people. However, Richard’s family welcome and encourage all who were touched by Richards’s life to join us in a live stream of the service, which will be available on the day of the service via the zoom link
