Richard "Kris" Farraway

With sadness we announce that, Kris Farraway passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at the age of 62 years. 

Kris  was born in Zweibrucken, Germany and lived in Calgary, Alberta. He was a man of Sci-Fi and had a love for the prehistoric age. You could often find him in his spare time enjoying hobbies such as Warhammer, D&D, and other table top games. He had a large love for anything dinosaurs and shared that with his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed spending time with his friends at the Wilkinson house.

Kris is survived by his siblings, Sara (Paul) Farraway, David (Krista) Farraway, Jo-Ann Newall; nieces and nephews, Jason Huntley, Karly Hribnak (Jeff), Kyle Sproul (Casondrea), Stevie-Lynn Farraway, Zach Newall, and Sam Farraway. He was predeceased by his father, Richard Farraway; mother, Joan Farraway; and sister, Nancy Huntley. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
