SUNDERLAND Randy Thomas Randy Thomas Sunderland, born Sept. 10, 1958 departed from his loved ones April 7, 2012. Raised in Calgary Randy’s family and home were his heart. He encompassed a rare blend of humour, loyalty, compassion and a truly genuine nature. Randy is survived by Wendy, his loving wife of 25 years – his “little mon cherie”; their Molly; his mother Louise; mother in-law Helen; sisters Lorie, Gail, Rita; brother Jody; brothers and sisters in-law and their respective families. The remarkable impressions he left upon his 14 nieces and nephews will forever be treasured. He undeniably touched everyone he met and helped shape them into better people. Known to all who loved him as “the Gadget Guy” Randy enjoyed gardening, woodworking, reading, movies, technology and the company of his coffee buddies. Randy will live on through the memories of his family and will be missed by his “Get A Life” club-mates and his many friends and colleagues at RBC. A celebration of Randy’s life will be held at First Alliance Church Harvest Room, 12345 40 Street SE on Saturday, April 14 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Ed Dyck officiating.
