Randy Gordon Boehner

Randy Boehner passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at the age of 37 years. He is survived by his children, Jacob Valentine, Caspyn Boehner; his mother, Anita Summers; Siblings, Terra Slifka, Robert Slifka, and Tannessia Slifka; his former partner, family friend and mother to his son Jacob, Shelby Koenig; as well as Randy’s many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that became family.

Randy was born in Elliot Lake ON, on March 16, 1986. He grew up in Blind River, ON eventually making his way to Calgary, AB as a teenager. Randy was always a free spirit He grew up fishing and running wild outdoors. Randy was humorous, goofy and extremely giving and compassionate. He had a “tough guy” exterior but had a heart of gold. He enjoyed cooking and would elevate boring food into something special. Randy was friendly and very social, he could make friends with anyone and had a strong love for his mother, Anita.

Randy was creative and talented with art and tattooing. He was very proud of his work and loved showcasing projects he had been working on to friends and family. Randy was always up for adventure and was very proud to be a dad. He will be dearly missed by those who knew him.

Randy was predeceased by his father, Randy Boehner Sr; his uncle, Colin Boehner; his grandma, Adeline Boehner; and his cousin Colin Kees.

A Funeral Service will be held for Randy at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at 2:00 pm.
