Phillip Lual Noon Deng

Phillip Deng passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at the age of 42 years.

Phillip is survived by his wife, Mary; three children, Noon, Deng and Joshua; mother, Nyadeng Beluk of South Sudan; brother, Ayuel of South Sudan; two sisters, Atak and Achel both of South Sudan. He was predeceased by his father and brother Riak.

Phillip was born in Maluon Hol, South Sudan. Growing up he attended Wau day boys primary school which was located in the city of Wau, South Sudan and then moving to Wau boys primary school.

Later in his life he moved to North Sudan and continued in Wad Ashana secondary school in North Kordofan. Phillip emigrated to Canada and ended up calling Calgary home. He married Mary and had three beautiful children together.

A Funeral Service will be held for Phillip at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 11:00 am.
