Paula Noreen Stuart

Paula Stuart passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at the age of 65 years. She is lovingly remembered by her children Laurence Lawson, of Abbotsford, BC, and Andrea Lawson, of Calgary, AB; grandchildren, Mikayla, Jordan, Aurora (Brad), Kalvin, Juan, Shelbee, and Xoie-Bella; great grandchildren August, Brianne-Civet, and Ivory; siblings Chris (Rosemary) Stuart, of Calgary, AB and Lynn (Dennis) High, of Mission, BC; step-mother Faith Stuart; lifelong friend and sister TJ Macdonald; and many more family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Charles and Lorna Stuart.

Paula was born and raised in Calgary, AB in the house her father built on 48 Avenue NE, or what is now McKnight Blvd and then the family moved to Lakeview. In her youth, Paula was a Jobs Daughter with Bethel 14. Her first job was at Heritage Park. She attended SAIT for Graphic Design and had a part time job while in school working security, which is where she met her husband Gene. They were married in 1980 and were blessed with their two children. They were divorced in 1992.

Paula loved to help others. She volunteered in the schools with both of her children, Scouts Canada with Laurence, and Jobs Daughters with Andrea, also in Bethel 14. Her door was always open to all the children in Radison Heights where she raised her kids. She loved her big family with all 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Christmas, Easter and Halloween with her family was her absolute favorite.
