Paul Poulin

Paul Poulin passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on Wednesday, January 6th, 2016. Paul will be lovingly remember by his wife of 34 years, Frieda Patterson; his stepchildren Trevor and Mark; his step-grandchildren Curtis, Nathaniel, Adam, Erica, Victoria, and Brodie; his nephews and nieces Benoit, Olivier, Veronique, Rachel, and Melissa all of Laval, Quebec; his siblings Marc, Jean-Francois, Isabelle, and Genevieve of Laval, Quebec; and many friends. Paul was predeceased by his parents Ethel and Henri Poulin; and his brother Louis. Paul loved to drive truck. It was through his trucking career that he met his wife Frieda. Together they traveled all throughout North America. He loved to travel and was always up for a good road trip. He was also known to be frugal and was often found clipping coupons in search of a good deal. He loved to cook and and creating hot sauces. Paul had a very kind heart and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Please join the family on Tuesday January 12, 2016 at 2:00 pm for a funeral service to remember Paul at the Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 17th Avenue SE, Calgary, AB). A time of visitation to pay your final respects will take place prior to the service at 12:00 pm. A Celebration of Life for Paul is also being planned by his family in Quebec at a later date.
