Patricia Louise Edworthy (née Kuntz)

Patricia 'Patty' Louise Edworthy was born on March 17, 1956, in Weyburn, Saskatchewan, and passed away peacefully at her home in Calgary on March 27, 2026. A woman characterized by kindness and humility, Patty devoted many years of her life to working in the service industry, where she touched the lives of countless individuals with her gentle spirit and unwavering dedication.

Throughout her life, Patty exemplified grace and warmth, qualities that endeared her to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy is carried forward by her loving husband of 27 years, Ken, whose partnership and devotion were a source of strength and joy for her.

Patty is survived by her children: Tasha (Stephen) Hoffarth , Brennon (Jen) Larose and Dustin (Mandy) Edworthy. She took great pride and happiness in her role as grandmother toTristin (Mike), Paitin, Dailyn, Tyler, Acadia , Brooke (Ethan), Talon, and Dove (Ryan). Her family further expanded with the addition of her cherished great-grandchildren Knexin, Kylin, Kain, Kaesen, and Hudson, who brought light and laughter into her later years.

Her bond with her siblings remained a vital part of her life; she is survived by her siblings, Fred Kuntz, Dianne (Wayne) Lasher and Daryl (Tracey) Kuntz . These family ties reflect the close-knit relationships Patty treasured and nurtured.

Patty was preceded in death by her beloved parents, George and Clara Kuntz, whose memories she held dear throughout her life. She also mourned the loss of her sister-in-law, Lorna. Their memories remain a comforting presence for her loved ones.

A Celebration of Life for Patty will be held on April 8, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Pierson's Funeral Services (4121 17 Ave SE, Calgary). This gathering will provide an opportunity for family, friends, and all who were touched by Patricia’s kindness to honor and celebrate her remarkable life and enduring spirit.

In remembering Patty, we honor a woman whose humble heart and generous nature left an indelible mark on those around her. She will be dearly missed but fondly remembered for the love and warmth she so freely gave.
