Patria Elen passed away on Friday October 9, 2020 at the age of 81 years. Patria was born in Dueñas Iloilo in the Philippines and was one of 12 children to Felicisimo and Esperanza Lañada. She is survived by her loving husband Jaime and daughter Elizabeth along with extended family in the Philippines and in the U.S.
Patria was a doting and loving wife and mother. Family always came first to her. She was beautiful, selfless, generous and had the most amazing heart. She brought smiles to the faces of everyone she encountered whether it be people she knew or even random strangers. Everyone adored her and she will be greatly missed.
Visitation for Patria will be held at Pierson’s Funeral Service (4121 – 17 Avenue Se, Calgary) on Friday, October 16, 2020 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Graveside will follow at Rocky View Garden of Peace Cemetery at 1:30 pm.
