Olga Alice Sankar
May 5, 1919 — October 17, 2021
It is with great sadness that the family of Olga Alice Sankar announces her passing on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at the age of 102. She will be greatly missed by her children Helen and Carol, her grandchildren, great grandchildren, her Seven Day Adventist Church family and her wonderful family around the world. Olga was predeceased her husband Andrew, 6 siblings and 4 children.
Olga was born in Matelot, Trinidad and spent most of her life in Trinidad before moving to Canada to live with her daughter, Helen in 1990. She enjoyed crocheting, and was dedicated to her religious studies.
A celebration of Olga’s life will take place on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. from the Garden Road Seven Day Adventist Church (155 – 100 Street NE, Calgary, AB). The service will be live streamed in order to support the individuals who would be unable to attend (<

> ). Cremation has taken place at the Foothills Crematorium.
Due to the pandemic protocol, Government issued identification along with proof of vaccination, a negative Covid test result in the past 72 hours or a medical exemption letter will be required to attend. Masks are mandatory.
