Nigel William Robert John Carlson sadly and unexpectedly passed away in Calgary, Alberta on Monday March 20, 2023 at the age of 33 years.
Nigel was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. He was the eldest son of Sharlene La Rose and was a big brother to Nathen Carlson. He also leaves behind his daughter, Nevaeh La Rose. As a young man, Nigel had many hurdles to overcome. He grew up in a single parent household. Becoming an adult, this never deterred him from his ability to love so much and help others even when he needed help. Through his adolescence and early adulthood, Nigel worked for Titan Chain Supply as a Chain Rigging Operator.
As he got older, he decided to explore his artistic abilities in drawing and creating many different styles and one of a kind art pieces such as beading, paintings, sketches and tattoos. Most of the time you’d find him with a sketchbook and supplies to take any chance to express himself through is artwork. His latest passion was tattooing. He was a very talented individual and enjoyed sharing his talents with everyone.
Nigel had so many great qualities that will be cherished by his loved ones. His humour and laughter could light up a room and could make anyone laugh when having a bad day. He will be deeply missed by his mother, Sharlene; auntie Pet; and numerous family members and friends he had during his life. We will sincerely miss Nigel and will never forget the happiness, love and caring heart he had. We love you and will forever miss you. Rest in paradise, Nigel. Your light will forever shine within our hearts and minds. You will be deeply missed.
Nigel William Robert John Carlson is predeceased by his grandparents, Thomas and Mary La Rose; uncle Martin La Rose, auntie, Elinor Mackie La Rose, auntie, Rose La Rose; and cousins, Luke Chalifoux and Jay La Rose.
A Visitation will be held for Nigel at Pierson’s Funeral Service (4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Tuesday March 28, 2023 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.
