Nelly Luisa Chacon

Nelly Chacon passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Friday, July 15, 2016. Nelly will be lovingly remembered by her children Tania (Preston) Adams and Chris (Sabie) Chacon; her grandchildren Valeska, Selena, Preston Jr., Taylor, and Lorenzo; her father Mario Sr.; her siblings Guillermina, Edith, Mariana, Alvaro, and Mario Jr. Nelly was predeceased by her mother Maria Nelly. Nelly had a strong faith in God which was the foundation of her life. Her family were her highest priority. The joy in her life were her children and grandchildren. She held wisdom beyond her years. Nelly’s desire was to encourage, show love, and lift up the broken hearted. She was very unique and had an unforgettable personality. She had a passion for fashion and loved her shoes, purses, and jewelry. She was a very generous lady who was extremely hospitable. Nelly loved to host family and friends which involved an abundance of food. When you visited with Nelly, you never left empty handed – whether you held food, wisdom, or the love from her heart. Her family would describe her as having the heart of a little girl – she loved her china tea sets and Disney princess movies. She truly is Unforgettable and will be missed.
