Murray Kenneth Reding
July 13, 1960 — January 16, 2023
Murray Reding passed away at his home on Monday, January 16, 2023 at the age of 62 years.
He is survived by his brother, Darcy (Julia) Reding, niece Kaiden and nephew Kevin Reding, along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins throughout Alberta and British Columbia. Murray was predeceased by his parents George and Lila and his special friend, Debbie McKeown. Murray resided in Calgary his entire life, growing up in the Renfrew area. In his youth, he was a skilled wrestler, at one time earning the Southern Alberta Championship in his weight class. He worked for many years as a Pressman at Canadian Publishers in Calgary. Murray was generous and kind-hearted – always there to give a helping hand, offer words of advice, or just be a good listener when needed.
A Memorial Service will be held for Murray at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Wednesday February 1, 2023 at 2:00 pm.
A private family interment will take place at a later date.
