Michael Morin passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2023 at the age of 59 years.
Michael is predeceased by his parents, Paul & Zelia Vandal; sister, Janice Vandale; great-grandparents, Pierre & Carolyn Vandale; uncle and aunt, Brian & Mary Weiss.
He will be lovingly remembered by his siblings, Edward (Vera) Morin of Laloche, SK, Barbie (Rodereick) Ouellette of Meadow Lake, SK, Ernest (Rebecka) Vandale of Meadow Lake, SK and Elaine (Randall) Vandale of Laloche, SK; aunt, Florence (Gilbert) Copage of Calgary; special friend, Barb Mantler of Calgary; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family in Saskatchewan and Alberta.
Michael was born in Ile-a-la-Crosse, SK on December 18, 1963. He grew up with his parents and siblings in Saskatoon, SK. When he was 27 years old, he moved to Calgary, AB which remained his home until his passing. Michael worked as a surveyor for Seismic for over 35 years, he was a hard worker and loved his job. He also had a love for sports with hockey topping the list. He was a faithful Calgary Flames fan. Michael also enjoyed music with rock being his favorite. There was never a dull moment with him around as he loved to joke and make people laugh.
Michael’s final resting place will be in the family plot in Meadow Lake, SK at a later date.
